If you disclose data about other persons to us, we assume that you are authorized to do so and that this data is correct. You automatically confirm this when you provide us with data about these third parties. Please ensure that the third parties concerned have been made aware of this privacy policy.

3.2 Basic data and contact information

Basic data and contact information relate directly to your person and characteristics (e.g. to contact you). In this case, we process the following basic data, for example:

  • Name, first name

  • Address/Address

  • Billing and delivery address

  • E-mail address

  • Phone number

3.3 Contract data

Contractual data is information that arises in the context of the execution of the contract, such as:

  • Information from the run-up to the conclusion of a contract and information on the conclusion of the contract itself (e.g. on the subject matter of the contract), as well as the information required or used for processing

  • Date, information on the type and duration as well as conditions of the contract in question, data on the termination of the contract

  • Customer history

  • Information on payments and payment modalities, mutual claims

  • Complaint and feedback information

  • Access data and log-ins

3.4 Communication data

Communication data is data that arises in the context of communication with you. In particular, this is the following data:

  • Content of all correspondence

  • Information on the type, time and other boundary data of the communication

3.5 Behavioral data

In order to tailor our offers and services to you, we process data about your behavior. Behavioral data is information about your use of our website. We may also use your other interactions with us as behavioral data, and we may link behavioral data with other information. Then this data gives us information about what needs and interests you probably have. For this purpose, we evaluate behavioral data.

3.6 Location data and technical data

When you visit our website, technical data is collected. This includes, for example, the following data:

  • Location and traffic data

  • IP address of the end device and device ID

  • Information about your device and the operating system of your terminal device

  • Information about your internet provider

  • Content accessed on our website

  • Date and time of access to the website

4 Data protection information

4.1 Purpose of the processing

We process personal data from you, as far as permitted, for different purposes:

  • To fulfill the contract with you and improve our services

  • For communication (e.g. replying to your messages)

  • For marketing and information purposes

  • To maintain our IT security (in particular, to monitor the performance of our website).

  • For internal administration (e.g. in the context of accounting)

  • To comply with legal requirements (e.g., to process complaints or investigate criminal offenses) and assert legal claims (e.g., to defend ourselves against legal claims).

4.2 Categories of recipients

Categories of recipients to whom personal data may be disclosed depending on the activity in question. These are:

  • Web hosting provider and webmaster

  • IT service provider (if used)

  • Social media services (where used)

  • Fiduciaries, service providers for the fulfillment of legal or tax obligations

  • Insurance companies and banks

  • Other third parties providing services

4.3 Data transmission and dissemination

We disclose your personal data to service providers. This applies in particular to IT service providers. Insofar as these service providers process personal data as order processors, they are obliged to process personal data exclusively in accordance with our instructions and to take data security measures. Data may then also be disclosed to other recipients, e.g. to courts and authorities in the context of legal proceedings. In individual cases, it is possible that we may also disclose personal data to other third parties for their own purposes, e.g. if you have given us your consent to do so or if we are legally obliged or entitled to disclose it.

Recipients of data (e.g. other companies or authorities) are not only in Switzerland. This particularly concerns certain service providers such as Google & Co. These may also be located outside of Switzerland and also outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), especially in the USA and also in other countries around the world. We may, for example, transfer data to authorities abroad if we are legally obliged to do so. Not all countries outside Switzerland and the EEA have the same level of data protection as in Switzerland. Therefore, we compensate for the lower level of protection through appropriate contracts, especially the so-called Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the European Commission and recognized by the Swiss Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). In certain cases, we may also transfer data without these contracts in accordance with data protection requirements, e.g., if you have consented to a certain data disclosure or if the disclosure is necessary for the performance of the contract or the enforcement of legal claims or for overriding public interests.

4.4 Duration of data processing

We store and process your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose of processing (in the case of data relating to contracts, this is usually for the duration of the contractual relationship), for as long as we have a legitimate interest in storing the data (e.g. in order to enforce legal claims, or to ensure IT security) and for as long as data is subject to a statutory retention obligation (for certain data, for example, a ten-year retention period applies). We destroy or anonymize your personal data after the storage or processing period has expired, provided that no legal or contractual obligations prohibit this.

6 Cookies and web analytics service

6.1 Cookies

We use tracking technologies ("cookies") on the website to learn more about the way a user interacts with the website and to ensure the functionality of the website. Cookies are small text files that are stored either only for the duration of the visit to the website (so-called "session cookies") or for a longer period of time and are only deleted after a limited period of time, e.g. to recognize returning users.

On the one hand, we use session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the website is closed and which allow the server to establish a stable connection to the user (so that, for example, the contents of a shopping cart are not lost) for as long as the user is browsing the website. On the other hand, permanent cookies are used, which are deleted only after a time specified per website. Permanent cookies are used to remember user preferences on the website and remain on the user's desktop or internet-enabled device even after the browser is closed or the device is restarted. We use these cookies to analyze user behavior and to determine visit patterns so that website functionality can be improved for all users.

Cookies do not cause any damage and do not contain viruses. If the user nevertheless does not wish cookies to be set, the browser can be set so that cookies are only created with the user's consent or are generally rejected. However, it should be noted that if the user rejects cookies on the website, some functions on the website may be limited or unavailable.

You can get help on cookie management for popular browsers here:

6.2 Web and newsletter analysis

In order to obtain information about the use of our website, to improve our Internet offering and to be able to address you with advertising on third-party websites or on social media, we use various analysis tools and re-targeting technologies.

These tools are provided by third-party providers. As a rule, the information collected for this purpose about the use of a website is transmitted to the third-party provider's server through the use of cookies or similar technologies. Depending on the third-party provider, these servers may be located abroad.

The transmission of the data usually takes place with shortening of the IP addresses, which prevents the identification of individual end devices. A transmission of this information by third-party providers only takes place due to legal regulations or in the context of order data processing.

6.3 Google and Squarespace Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by cookies about the use of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, Google will truncate the user's IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of the website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of the website by its users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. Users may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on their browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Users may also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie (including IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link(https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de)

More information on the terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and https://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

The web hosting provider (Squarespace Ireland Limited) also collects personal data that serves as the basis for our website analytics. This includes:

  • Information about your browser, network and device

  • Web pages that you have accessed before visiting this website

  • Your IP address

  • This information may also include details about your use of this website, including:

  • Clicks

  • Internal links

  • Visited pages

  • Scroll

  • Searches

  • Timestamp

7 - Google Maps

On our website, we use Google Maps (API) from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; responsible for Europe is Google Limited Ireland, "Google"). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to visually present geographical information. By using this service, our location is shown to you and a possible approach is made easier. Already when calling up those sub-pages in which the map of Google Maps is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. For data transfers to the USA, Google has undertaken to sign and comply with the EU standard contractual clauses.

For more information, please see the Google and Google Maps privacy policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://google.com/help/terms_maps.

8 - Integration of external online and social media services

So-called social media plug-ins from third-party providers are used on our website. The plug-ins are recognizable by the logo of the respective social network. Via the plug-ins, we enable you to interact with the social networks and other users. We use the following plug-ins on our website:

  • Facebook / Instagram

When you call up our website, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the third-party provider. The content of the plug-in (e.g. LinkedIn) is transmitted directly to your browser by the respective third-party provider and integrated into the page.

The data transfer for the display of content (e.g. publications on Instagram) takes place regardless of whether you have an account with the third-party provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in to the third-party provider, your data collected by us is also directly assigned to your account with the third-party provider. If you activate the plug-ins, the information will also be published on the social network and displayed to your contacts there. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the third-party providers, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the privacy notices of the third-party providers. The third-party provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. In particular, such an evaluation is also carried out for non-logged-in users for the display of needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. If you would like to prevent the third-party providers from assigning the data collected via our website to your personal profile in the respective social network, you must log out of the corresponding social network before visiting our website.

You can also completely prevent the loading of the plug-ins with specialized add-ons for your browser, such as "Ghostery"(https://www.ghostery.com) or "NoScript"(http://noscript.net).

An overview of the Facebook plug-ins from Facebook (cf. Facebook Pixel) can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins. For more information, please consult Facebook's privacy policy at https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

9 - Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. To ensure that the newsletter is sent with your consent, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. In the course of this, the potential recipient allows himself to be included in a distribution list. Subsequently, the user is given the opportunity to confirm the registration in a legally secure manner by means of a confirmation e-mail. Only if the confirmation is received, the address will be actively included in the distribution list. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and offers. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.

Stripe collects data such as name and address as well as bank data such as payment type, credit card number, account numbers and contract amount. In addition, Stripe sets cookies to carry out the payment process and to ensure the security of the payment process.
