ICE ICE TROPHY
The new trophy of the Concours d'Elegance THE ICE : A masterpiece of craftsmanship
For six years now, the International Concours d'Elegance THE ICE on the frozen lake in St. Moritz has attracted the most important classic cars in automotive history every year and has long since become one of the world's most important events for car enthusiasts. What has been missing until now, however, is a trophy worthy of this prestigious event. But now the time has come: THE ICE finally has a trophy that matches the splendor and significance of this unique event, and it is truly a masterpiece.
Over the past few months, craftsmanship, design and precision have come together in a remarkable collaboration between the star architect Lord Norman Fosterthe organizer Ronnie Kessel and our house. Over 300 hours of painstaking craftsmanship have gone into creating this trophy - a true work of art that not only reflects the importance of the Concours d'Elegance, but also embodies the passion for the automobile and attention to detail.
The trophy is presented in a specially designed box, which was created in collaboration with the family business Roger Truan in Geneva, which perfectly showcases the entire work of art. It is not just a presentation box, but a work of art in itself, which perfectly showcases the fine materials and sophistication of the entire object.
Overall, the new trophy of the Concours d'Elegance THE ICE is far more than just an award for the winner of this competition. It is a symbol of the pursuit of perfection and the artistry that has always played a role in automotive history and craftsmanship.
This unique creation combines design, craftsmanship and passion in a fascinating way.
An absolute first and a challenging task for both Lord Foster as a designer and us as jewelers, which we mastered with great dedication.
We congratulate Marc Newson with his Bugatti 59 for winning this year's "Best in show" category and thank all those involved once again for this extraordinary task.
